Maintenance



Maintenance Tech will perform maintenance, preventative, and general repairs on commercial buildings. The position entails responding to work orders regarding gas pumps, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical services as needed.

 

Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:

Maintenance Tech is to be responsible for maintenance of store, and grounds of location

Maintaining store cleanliness

• Perform maintenance, renovations and general repairs of gasoline pumps for a commercial building
• Respond to job work orders in regards to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting or mechanical services as needed
• Overall responsibility for the maintenance and repair of building system infrastructure, including upkeep of buildings, grounds, equipment and electrical systems
• Provides basic maintenance and repair of plumbing systems as directed, to include repair of leaking fixtures, unclogging drains
• Troubleshoots, maintains, and performs basic repair of minor building electrical problems, such as changing lamps, ballasts, fixtures, switches, photo cells, outlets and conduit bending. 

Requirements

Maintenance Technician qualifications:

• Must be a highly self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.

• Outstanding people and communication skills
• Minimum of 5+ years experience performing repairs and maintenance
• Strong ability to use general construction tools
• Broad knowledge of practices and techniques of general construction, repair, and maintenance in a commercial and residential environment (i.e. has an understanding of plumbing knowledge for new tenant improvements including copper piping and soldering).
• HVAC and mechanical equipment knowledge preferred (i.e. sourcing heat pumps, fans, pneumatic controls, d.d.c. controls, and boilers)
• Knowledge of Doors/Hardware (ie. locksets, door closures, frames)
